Thursday night at the JewelBox is going to be one trip after another. The evening starts off with Du Hexen Hase who I can only describe as urban noise meets fantastic dissonant melody. They will be followed by Midday Veil who is part-psychedelic, part-heavy trance pulsed onward by extended synth drones. Closing the evening will be Moon Duo (feat. Ripley of Wooden Shjips) hailing from San Francisco. Moon Duo is a rad band that couples rich layers with tasteful distortion. The lyrics bleed into the background but are pronounced enough that they aren’t lost. The catchy band is heavily steeped in psychedelic rock and will plunge you head first into beautiful delusions.
